Sort of disappointed Oneal Wilder wasn't a factor today...

other than our the reverse pass on the opening offensive play, I'm not sure he had a pass thrown toward him all day. He looked really good in the spring game.

Not sure what to think. Definitely a bit disappointed that, other than the trick play to open the game, we never attempted to throw it downfield. Don't know if that was because Mullen wanted to establish the run or if that's because our QBs are incapable of doing it. I was hoping that the WR got a little more involved but at MSU it's hard to argue 3 TD passes. We definitely need Dixon after Ducre's performance today. Was very pleased with Elliot, but Stallworth looked very, very slow out there. Hard to knock him with the injury and all, but if he was that slow against JSU, he won't be able to do much against an SEC d.

I don't think Mullen opened up the playbook this afternoon. That could be a reason.</p>

I kept waiting for us to thow a fade or something to him to use his height. He ought to be money in the red zone, but we never used him.
