Soucie showing Schaumburg no love...who else?

Always love seeing Soucie's predictions tracking that 8A/7A cut line. Not that I wouldn't love to measure GW against the almighty Homer-Flosswood, but we will go where we are sent.

One school that I was looking at as a team on the cut line was Schaumburg. Catch has them in, Soucie says they will lose their last three games against Conant, Palatine and Fremd and therefore miss.

I am not starting this to doubt the Soucemaster, just wondering if others have spotted teams that are not being included in his projections that could impact cut lines between classes

As has been stated MULTIPLE times, Catch-22 is not projecting the end of season cut-line. It's just a snapshot of the season up to the current week.

Projecting the 8A/7A (or 1A/2A) cut line is not that complicated and I have posted the the largest 80 schools by enrollment in another post. The teams on the bubble are the teams questionable for 5 wins and then the 5 win teams with low points.

Trying to seed all the teams and project all the cut lines has way too many variables at this time.

Wow...GE giving me the home team smack in ALL CAPS no less.

My post was not about the disparity between the two as I am fully aware of how and what Catch does.

My post was to start a dialogue about some of the projections Soucie is making. I just happen to be looking at 8A/7A cut. Saying a team will go from 4-2 (presumed) to missing the playoffs is showing little love.

Just wondering if anyone spotted any other bold predictions by Soucie.

But thanks for the tongue lashing.

4 weeks to play guys. Soucie's projections make a lot more sense in weeks 8 and 9. He's doing it now for discussion purposes only.
