Sounds like James Coley maybe out at Miami.

Read a rumor on the Miami Scout board that Richt maybe about to offer a couple of his assistants from Georgia as co-OCs.

I know some on here have talked about Coley as a potential addition to the staff.

Looks like he'll be available.

Not sure Kentucky will get, or even offer Coley. Would possibly be a neat addition, but I have to feel like we would have heard at least a bit of chatter if there was any interest there.

I would love to bring him on. Veteran play caller. Multiple set offensive scheme. Been around some very good teams and offenses. Recruits south Florida. He's exactly what we need.

The Co-OC ideal is interesting but Dawson and Coley run two very different offenses so I don't see how those two could coexist. Stoops indicated he is fully supporting Dawson so I doubt anything happens here, but who knows.

UK runs a specific offense? Could have fooled me the last 5 years [sick]. Honestly I'd love for them to be Co-OC's. Make one a QB coach and one a WR coach as well. Coley is a very good recruiter in the South where we badly need it (especially if Ansley leaves as expected).

Anybody and everybody>>Dawson. Would love for him to come here. I know a lot of people here want to believe Dawson is great just for the sole fact stoops hired him and he coaches for Kentucky. But I'm a firm believer in, just because they're kentuckys coach doesn't mean they're good at what they do. I truly believe just because they don the blue and white, that doesn't make them a good coach, call me crazy if you like. Just my belief.

What we need is a dedicated, experienced QB coach who also is a great recruiter. Where can we find on of those?

Nobody wants to hear it but I'd love to get Randy Sanders back here just to coach QB's and he has connections in Tennessee (which we should start hitting hard. A lot of talent will be coming out of Nashville due to the boom there) and the rest of the Southeast. But I have a feeling that as arrogant and flippant Dawson comes off as he wouldn't give up that sort of control to anyone else. Which is a shame.

You would have cut another coach loose to make room, and someone else would have to pick up his responsibilities. Who would that be? Scott and Ansley are two of our best recruiters I would definitely not want to part with either of them.

Present WR coach isn't getting it done with his unit on the field or with recruiting off of it

At least the O line coach is bringing in 4 star guys

Not happy with wr performance but mainord has been recruiting the dmv very well considering who and what we are up against.

Don't know how true this is, but I heard the other day Joe Walsh wants to get back into coaching, and has been looking at horse farms.
