It is about what your product has to offer.

If you feel like your product matches or exceeds your competitor's product; you encourage them to take a look at your competition.

If you feel like your product is not as worthy, you probably try and discourage them from seeing what others have to offer.

after what happened last year on the recruiting front, did he/they really think there wouldn't be consequences, or that we wouldn't react?!?

And here's another thought....IF these recruits were worried about visiting Oxford, they wouldn't immediately commit to us. They would just wait ONE MORE WEEK and visit Oxford before deciding. You know that Dan is laying this "committed means no more visits" thing out front of them before they say yes.

That's correct. You only threaten to pull scholarships from your commits who have no other offers, ala CB Kivon Coman for example.

Mullen is not telling AJ and Richie Brown they do not have a spot for him if they visit other schools. I can assure you of that.

But he will tell someone like Kivon Coman.

he had to get ugly with them and let Yancy know not to contact him again......So, yeah, it's safe to say they wouldn't offer him (rolls eyes)......What a bunch of hypocritical bastards.....

ended up having a tremendous senior season. Drew a ton of late interest from Tennessee as well...

I mean if you don't have an inferior product they should've told Ward, "Channing, we know you don't want to go and you are steadfast in your committment to us, butPLEASE go visit so you can see how superior our product really is".........

had room but I know AJ has been recruiting us very hard so I'm happy for him. It is going to be one hell of a scene in the Square if Liggins rings a cowbell.
