Do they sell beer during the games?
I was in Mobile this past weekend and just happen to run into the guy in charge of beer sales at the stadium. They are adding extra beer carts, 3 on each side and 1 at each end. They will stop selling with 7 minutes left in the third in order to let people sober up before driving. I rode by the stadium and there is no parking and the surrounding neighborhood isn't very good. The bar scene downtown is pretty good but scattered and is not within walking distance of the stadium.

There is plenty of parking by the stadium, it's just in people's yards. My wife's an alumnae of USA and we've always parked in the neighborhood. For this one, we're staying at a hotel a couple blocks off Dauphin Street and taking cabs to/from the game.

In the past, the beer has been relatively (for a stadium) inexpensive, I think three bucks for a 12-ounce can. They've always stopped at the end of the third quarter, but maybe they're moving that up this year.

Saturday I would "tailgate" on Dauphin Street downtown. There's absolutely nothing around the stadium and you won't be able to properly tailgate in the lot unless you're setting up with USA fans.

I start with Bloody Mary's and seafood at Wintzells before the game. It's a fun restaurant and kid friendly. Also you've got three nice bars right next door to watch the games and get a bite to eat - Moe's BBQ, O'Daly's Irish Pub, OK Bicycle Shop.

Make sure you have a ride b/c Dawgbite is correct. The stadium is a little over two miles from Wintzells.

Getting to the game in a cab will be easy, getting back not so much. We did that in Houston last year and waited an hour after the game and still couldn't get a cab, we finally walked to a hotel about a mile away and got one there.
