Has anyone seen them play? Or know much about them?
RebelSports had them as Preseason #1. I know preseason ranking mean nothing.
Losses to Westfield, Centreville and Madison are easy to understand, but the Woodson loss does not seem to fit.

With games against Robinson, Fairfax and Lake Braddock, 3 wins and in. And what could be a very tough 6-8 seed.

Any thoughts?

I was wondering the same thing. Looking forward to this Fridays game with Robinson. SC has had the opposite schedule of West Springfield, in terms of tough teams. I think as long as Spalding is healthy, they are hard to beat. If you can shut Spalding down, you can beat them. Someone told me he has had his bell rung twice this season already. Not sure if that is true or not..

I think Spalding was dinged once was during the Madison game, I don't recall him on the field after halftime if not in Q2. South County made a couple of big pass plays and were up 13-0 pretty quick (Madison's safeties are not blinding fast) and made some runs, but the Madison defense is pretty relentless, and plays hard all the way through the whistle. The other thing I think happened was that SoCo defense was a little worn down later in the game by the Madison O-line (good conditioning there). SoCo still had a chance in Q4, but the run of the plays didn't work for them.

I still would live to know what happened to SOCO in the Woodson game. That's the one that really surprised me.
