I hope the rain holds off till the games are complete. West want be able to stop the Bandys running game but hopefully they can slow it down. Should be a good game and hopefully good fan support.

East pulling the upset? North has always been underdogs to East lol. They carry or 95% of the time carry better overall talent. There may be a better LB at North than what East has or a better TE or OG etc etc (over a period of time, not talking bout this year) but overall East always has the overall package.
Not sure what happened to them this year that their stocks were down, a few less athletes than usual. But I totally see what y’all are saying. It’s the ranking and how they are THIS year which means perhaps North is the alpha male team. Dumb as it sounds and irreverent very very few times has East Burke ever been favored on paper over Freedom. There’s always more athletes at Freedom, same for EL in this rivalry. Just my cent and a half lol.

Wolf4Lyfe, thanks for the trivia. Coach Cloninger is one of my favorites. I remember him running the ball for the Wolves. He was a tough back. I’d also heard that Paul Johnson coached at Avery County High School early in his career. I am a big fan of the triple option. To many, it’s dull and unexciting and has it’s drawbacks but It’s effective.
I wish Bandys lots of luck! I think they will pull away in 4th qtr like usual. I’ll be cheering hard for a Bandy’s win! Hell I’d even be cheering for East if we weren’t playing them!

That’s a very nice accomplishment. Be the 2nd time ever North has seen 3rd round. Am I right? I’ll go with that. Anyway, in 07’ a big night of football for North Lincoln and East Burke. EB loses to the Charlotte allstars..ahem I mean Independence by 2 TDs while at Mount Pleasant North loses a highly controversial game with a MP fumble toward the end that North clearly recovered but refs said down by contact. Woulda gave North a chance, coulda won and got a shot at Shelby in the 4th. They have that chance now but it’s the 3rd.
Proud of the boys, I just hope they don’t choke cause it’s Shelby. I’ll start one tonight or tomm on this and keep SF talk going. Feel to lazy to turn Stephen Colbert off cause any second they’ll be a Trump bash. All these late night comedians make me sick.
