One day before the game and a thread for Black Friday has not even been started. I know everyone believes this to be one sided but is there so little interest in this game now it is not even worth commenting on? Well I certainly predict a running clock early second half. Maybe 60-0 or 69-7 at the end. The big question is how many PATs does SP fail to get this week. A full touchdowns worth?

I believe it will be a close one. Probably 7 to 0 halftime score with SP pulling away in 2nd half.
We are here, unfortunately. This the worst East Gaston defensive football team in the history of the school (and that is saying something) and the offense is not far behind. We have been out scored 240 to 26 in the first half alone....all against below average teams. You can't believe how bad we are until you see it in person! Almost zero effort, it's sad and embarrassing.
I’m leaving at the half to see foots, but hope to see you guys there. Your current experience gives us no pleasure.
You guys feel you’ve fallen down to we’re Highland Tech usually was? I remember some good athletes at EG and there’s been times they’ve showed ELincoln up. I’m just an outsider on this one and hope things perk up
I'm not sure we could beat Highland Tech right now, we definitely couldn't stop them from scoring.
The EG defense was spectacular the first 8 minutes and the entire 1st quarter. 8 minutes in, the Raider offense had a total of ZERO yards and failed miserably to cross midfield the entire quarter only gaining one first down. The masterful plan of keeping the EG defense off the field was key here.
Give all the credit in the world to the EG kids. They played their hearts out. When SP went up 14-0 in less than 4 minutes into the game , in my opinion they saw the blowout and became very complacent. SP looked ragged getting flagged almost every other play. With a big game coming up at ER this week I thought we were very vanilla in our game plan. Fullback dive was called more redundantly even for Raider standards.
We were excited to see our JV freshmen QB get as much time in the game as he did last night. The Redbone is going to be in very good hands over the next 3 years. This freshman is very athletic and equally savvy.
He has the skillset and mental smarts and toughness to play at the next level.
Good luck to EG. Again your kids left it all on the field. You can be proud. Someone will eventually come along and turn your program around.

I was very impressed with the EG stadium, field and facilities, since I was last there a few years ago. The sound system was good, the stadium announcer was pretty much unbiased and the burgers and fries were great. EG has everything they need for much football success except a team. With only 19 players dressed out at kickoff, they were pretty much doomed before the game even started. I hope things turn around there for them soon, a lot of their fans deserve it. As for SP, a good 1st half but I don’t think that will cut it next week at ER. Buckle down Raiders, it’s getting serious.
SP had to come into the game expecting a blowout. Returning the 2 punts for TD's in the few 4 minutes of the game may have actually worked against the offense as they seemed a little flat. I am not sure they had many offensive series that did not include penalties during the drive. Agree with Raidersway about the FR QB. He is going to be a good one. SP has two challenges on their schedule and the first one is next week.
