Haha, it should be a fast game. South Point is averaging 285 yards rushing a game and Hibriten is averaging 379 yards rushing per game. Kind of like the East Duplin game last year except they we monsters. That team must have ate mashed potatoes 4 times a day. The amazing thing was their speed and that was unbelievable.

For some reason we throw fades. Probably because Muse could play the ball so well. We need to throw behind the backers. Slow their asses down. A redbone rpo with bite. Work the middle of the field. Anybody who has played the game knows about the hole behind the backers.
If the qb has time. We love something new in football called the blitz. Of course ideally we would get up 14 or 21 and force you to pass. Will it happen, I have no clue. I was being sarcastic about the blitz. We have been using that with great success recently. Not sure about that Friday either with all the run plays

This is my final prediction. I have it 28-21 Hibriten. That is if you all can stop us on special teams. I think we fumble 2 times and you guys once.i just think Hibriten has too much firepower for SP to win this one. Your coach is so good we have to give 7 points for him. If SP holds Hibriten to 28 that is a win in itself.Grier should get one bomb or busted play because of his speed. It will be a great game. To bad we couldn't have met a round or 2 later. What you don't see with South Point is how bad they would get killed if they were not so well coached. You can have the discipline, the plan, and believe.... but still not be able to cash the check. Probably one of those years! Hibriten may be to strong. I know the staff too well to seriously critique what they do.

BRT that is a very well thought out analogy. The only problem I have with it is it sucks.
Hibriten has there own disadvantages. The first is....they are playing SP. SP will not collapse like the cream puffs teams you played all season. We know Hibriten is loaded on both sides of the ball yet we cut our teeth on fighting through the tough games. SP will bring it for 48 minutes and regardless of how good Hibriten is.. they will have 48 minutes of hell to tend with.
BRT please dude what Hibriten rushed for against that competition has no basis for comparing. That schedule was by far one of the weakest in the 2A ranks. Give us that schedule and our rushing numbers will jump up like short skirt in a wind tunnel.
I understand that and said nothing about yards. I realize we will not be running track every play. I was just saying both teams love to run. Very similar styles with the exception that Hibriten and big plays. Your system works well. It is very boring to watch but if ya win 12 games a year you are doing something right. The clock will run and run. 9:30 the game will be over.
We know how to play 48 minutes. Just watch the East Duplin game. Those boys were very tough. Schedule has not much to do with it. We played the same last year and beat a good Shelby team. You all know how good they were. We spotted them 7 points on the first play of the game and gave them nothing else for the remaining 47 minutes
I agree they will come to win and not just play. I know our kids are tough after that ED Championship game. That was the best team we ever played. I could not believe their spies for their size. Video does them not justice. By winning that game it gave our team confidence that they can face adversity and still come out on top. That is one reason I say we have to much firepower. We know how to win and be champs now!
I have to add I am kind of disappointed for you all. I remember that qb for Shelby. He tried to play in the MP game last year when Surrat got hurt. He was awful then. When SP played Shelby he would stand in the pocket for 5-7 seconds. He had running lanes open and would not take off. He is an ok QB and not great but he torched you guys since you had near zero pass rush. We can pass when we feel like it. Our qb was horrible last year until that bomb in the Championship game. This year he has been on point when passing. He can also run so if the same lanes are open for him he will take off and get about 17 yards at will.i think our schedule has you all confused. We don't play up to competition or down to competition. We do the same thing every week and if you are not super deep as a team the 4th quarter will be ours. I need to check out the roster on max preps because Shelby beat you guys in the 4th quarter so the SP players had to have been worn down. Maybe 36 minutes is more accurate for how long you last with those monster linemen pounding on those little linemen you have. I may be on to something, haha
This will be about the 10th time I have said this. We played the same schedule last year and that turned out fairly well.
Ok then I will have to say we play cupcakes early and still have enough to beat real teams like Shelby and such
