I love it. You don't say that 2 days ago but only once I notice you schedule is not as beastly and you all make it sound. It says discussion so I am discussing

Here is all the truth of the matter...... SP can compete in this game. If they will is yet to be determined. Too often this year SP has not used Grier to their advantage and went to him when everyone in the stadium knew it was going his way. He's been running in plays and more often than not, not running in a play on 3rd down...... head scratcher, right? Slants, outs, and hitches are there on every play for Grier. His speed allows that cushion off of the line. To date, his activity in the passing game has primarily been fades and fly patterns. Hence a very low completion rate. Grier is the deciding factor in this game. If SP mixes him in early, See Nick Muse 2016, with high % throws and takes the pressure off of Hale and Jones in the backfield I think SP has a great chance to win the game. If the routine of midline, midline, fade is the choice when behind the chains Hibriten may run out of gun powder in the cannon.

In all seriousness, if Hibriten gets up early it will be a long night for SP. The key for SP is to get the early lead and keep Hibriten offense off the field. if this happens SP could steal a win.

Everyone has a plan until they are punched in the teeth. I don't see a win by either team to be considered a steal. Both teams expect to win. That's what they both do. I don't think it's an upset either way. SP owned Shelby last year in the regular season; game wasn't really close. Two weeks later the tables were completely turned and it wasn't an upset. Whoever can establish their tone will win the game. I see it close but high scoring either way. 35-28 Someone.

I have shown you the good news. Now it is time for the bad. This is our beast fb. This was from last year and he is bigger and faster this year. And we have Gee also. Check out that beefcake O line

Obviously a good runner but if you watch closely he never had a hole. He runs straight up, comes to almost a complete stop and rolls off of some poor tackling defender. Kind of what you get against a weak schedule. That is not what you will see from the Raider "D". If he has no hole he will be tackled Friday night.

My friend, if SP wins this game it's a steal! Don't fool yourself

SP has been smashed 3 times this year already, little friend. Again, if a 3 loss team comes to Hibriten mountain and defeats the Panthers this year - it's a steal

A SP poster said it best earlier in the year that you live with triple option and you die with the triple option. Sorry SP fans but this week you die with the triple option. And Seadog, I’m 45 years old but I have the sac of a 25. #liquidcialis #snakevenom #dontgetsnakebit

Some irrefutable truths about this matchup:

There will be more dip stained wife beaters under some carharrt coats than has ever been assembled in one location

You could add the entire mass of unwashed South Point fans at the jaw and not have enough teeth to fill a full set

The cheeto eating South Point fans will slosh and slumber up the hill to the visitors side and at least 5 will have to have a golf cart/ ambulance/ or police car
escort to either the stands, hospital or jail due to a myocardial infarction, fat and lazy or so drunk they get arrested before coming in the gate...

A few South Point fans will remind their wives of their first date, once they heard that bell toll for the Panthers to come out too...and subsequent music that shall follow. They will reminisce about that bowling alley marriage with the kegger and all night bowl-a-thon

Then a silly little game will break out and the South Point fans will leave with about 6 minutes to go like they did against Shelby a couple weeks ago

Other than that, should be a great game...

Go Perquimans!!!!!!

A loser is a loser, so a loss is a loss...….. Winners find ways to win. This SP team is very beatable
Pats I could have helped you with that logic. We lost 4 of our first 6 games in 2016 so we were beatable then. We lost 3 games this year so we are beatable this year.
Winners find a way to win you say...If we play South Caldwell instead of Crest we would have won. If we played Draughn instead of Clover we would have won. If we play E.Burke instead of Shelby we would have won. That is a clear cut formula for an undefeated season to this point. South Point is beatable and so is Hibriten.

Ho Ho Ho...AKA Shelby, HH and Hibriten.
The great one speaks. Open letter to the Hibriten faithful and team

One thing is certain - in 2016 Hibriten was soft like woman. Is it the inbreeding, the lovely natural scenery of the area, or the good home cooking that produces such congenial almost toughs? Doesn't matter - but what does matter is this is a group of new kids at Hibriten - and they may not be as soft as Belmont fourth grade girls like the '16 team was...but even if they are they still have their own legacy to build. Will they be ready for that double reverse we ran twice for TDs in the first few games and been saving? Or will they be looking for our TE seam pass that is sure hit like it did In '16? We like to throw it up and let our TEs out jump you; most don't know that he sports a 38" vertical at 6' tall.

When you walk down that dark hill to the field - make sure not to trip. There will be a bigger crowd at this game than all your games combined this year. Since you played nobody, and none of them mattered - you will feel the impact of a man early on in this game...very much like those tough 2016 senior players that used to be so good on the football field and so tough in the locker rooms. Those guys got dominated. It's ok if it's in your blood to do so. You have mountains to look at, jugs to blow into and what not up there. It's a great place to live peacefully without all this hectic football drama.

Hibriten you have run across a band of gypsy players with not a whole lot of talent - that is sure. You see it on tape. You will see it in warmups. The most important part of this game won't be the heart of a champion...it will be the will of a fruit. It is a kinder, gentler, softer NCpreps these days. My insults are kinda sweet and their design to get under your skin - not really effective. But just remember, as the sleep overcomes you - it's OK to go into that good night. Rest easy now ...sleep...sleep...Good luck to the Hibriten Bananas.

...and in the distance you will hear a moonshine trio gently signing from a nearby hillside:
Where oh where are you tonight?
Why did you leave me here all alone?
I searched the world over and thought I found true love
but you played the Red Raiders and..
PFFFHFHFTTHHP - you were gone.
