Size alone will not win. Championship DNA and that killer speed will. You have never heard the cliche "speed kills)? If it were just one or the other (size or speed) you would be right. We have both and a very deep team. Not just players that stand on the sideline but actually come in the game. Another advantage is our jv team plays every game in the 4th quarter for us. Priceless experience for next season and they help fill spots for others to rest. If one of our linemen get tired we will just put another 1 in. 2016 we could not do that. Most of the players on the 2016 team played both sides of the ball for 48 min. I have given compelling information but I guess this horse I am beating is dead or I would have woke it up by now.

Those midgets are a greater model of what Watauga is. They are small, scrappy, disciplined and assignment keepers. They will have the opposing teams furious.

If your JV team plays every game in the 4th quarter you will be forfeiting all wins because you have violated the 8 quarter rule. You throw lots of half truths at us. Thats why we can’t take you serious. And to be honest it wouldn’t matter anyway. We always expect to win.
What he is doing is trying to say a small line will outdo our beasts because we will get tired. It ain't gonna happen that way. 2016 he uses for reference like every other sp fan stuck in the past. You are right. SP does not beat itself usually. They did against Shelby but it is rare. I fully expect their best just like any other team that plays us. We are the team everyone wants to beat. I understand it. What was the quote on the movie The Rock "your best losers whine about their best but winners go home a f the prom queen" SP is the prom queen, haha.
Yeah they kicked our a$$e$ 2 years ago and that was our last loss. 2 motivational points. Hibriten doesn't get spanked since Clay Lewis. Even the mighty Butler came up here and survived our boys. SP spanked a team that wasn't spanked very often anymore. It did have a positive side though. It motivated the coaches and players. They went in January still mad about the previous season. So January 2017 they vowed not to let anyone do that again and boy have they! 28 straight wins a State Championship and another great regular season this year. So we took a lot of good out of that game and now it has lead us here. The guys aren't trying to go out and change football or anything. Not gonna do crazy stuff. We are gonna play the best game we can on this Friday and see what happens. In 2016 that could be arguably the worst game they have played in 15 years. It will be a lot of fun in Lenoir tomorrow night that is certain! Hibriten didn’t have a 1st down until the 8 minute mark go the 3rd quarter. That had nothing to do with how bad Hibriten played and everything to do with SP’s defense.
