Is two hand touch and is being played at Petal High School. 10 fans were extremely upset.

Way to set the tone for next years season.

Considering how their league plays defense, that should get them well prepared for league play.

I guess USM doesn't want injuries. It's a shame the game is at Petal but to be expected what with USM's field being ripped up and replaced what with all those glass shards from February's tornado.

Damn. It is true. At least the part about playing their spring game at Petal High School. Was MM Roberts too damaged from the tornado to play? I think they're able to use their baseball stadium and it's pretty close to the football stadium. I do know that Hattiesburg High had to move their home baseball games to Petal and Oak Grove this season.

Speaking of USM, their baseball team has turned it around and is playing well now. We may end up seeing them in our regional if they keep it up.

With their RPI, I think they are going to have to win the C-USA tournament to get in. They lost today and their best remaining opponents are Alabama, Ole Miss, and Houston.

Yea, I was basing it on a CUSA tourney win. Kendall Rogers has them picked to win it, but that's still a long shot. RPI near 100 I think.

I guess their coach makes the final decision, but two hand touch spring games sound a little girly to me. Shouldn't you reward your players for their hard work in spring practice with a chance to suit up and play full contact? Not that it effects MSU, but its a little strange.
