I wanted to give a shout out to the Southlake Christian Eagles who won the division II independent schools title, last night, by defeating Davidson Day 21-14 in overtime. Their win may be of special interest to Lincolnton fans, as Southlake's head coach is former Wolves quarterback and then assistant coach Bobby Mclaughlin, who is finishing his first season, there. Congratulations to the Eagles and Coach Mclaughlin.
