Just keeping the recruiting gurus up-to-date as of 4/26/2011. They are killing us already, c'mon Mullen!!!

Ending quotes of the article....

"<span class="storybody">The train from South Panola to Ole Miss gained two more valuable passengers.

All aboard!

Huge shock. SP players choose OM.

I'm just glad they did it early so we don't have anything like last year with Brassell.

When's the last time MSU has signed someone from NWR? Last SEC signee I remember from Northwest Rankin signed with Alabama in 2006. Is DaRealistDawg wrong on every bit of his post?

He is a DL. Think PJ Jones minus 30 pounds. Strong is theOLB/DE and he isa good looking player. Hopefully his academics are better than Chris and Eddie's.

I agree with Irondog, I am glad that went ahead and committed.

thing, along with the Strongs, and the fact that it's April! Who cares about an early 17ing commit on this board....I sure as hell don't.

in a rivals article. He said he played DT last year, but was being recruited as a DE/OLB and would be playing those positions this year.

"I had a good year but I had over 100 tackles my sophomore year so my stats kinda went down," said the Batesville, Miss., native. "So I am looking to come back and double my stats as a senior. I am working on getting faster, stronger and bigger. I played at tackle last year but the coaches are moving me to defensive end this year because I am getting recruited as a defensive end and outside linebacker. So I am looking forward to that and I feel I come off the edge better anyway"-Isaac Gross

that is a sophomore genius.

"they both graduate next year"-I am sure you meant "might" both graduate considering the high school. And to answer your 2ndquestion, Sam Williams is from NWR. And we just signed 2 walkons. Is monkey115008 wrong on every bit of his post?

I believe Williams is a walkon too. The only thing that could really salvage your statement was if it was intended to be humor, but due to the lack of intelligence from the rest of that post, I definitely did not take it that way.

And don't even try to twist the fact that I had the SP player's class right and you didn't. Plus, graduating from HS is very different from qualifying for college, which is why I used my specific wording. Remember, Jerrell Powe? Yeah, he graduated h.s. with no problems.

When they both graduate next year, I hope you "might" eat your words and enjoy them. Thanks for playing.

hasn't lost to another Mississippi h.s. since who remembers when. I suspect they'll be just fine.

time at South Panola. If a kid from there has a genuine interest in MSU and is of good character with decent academic standing then I am all for pursuing him. The problem is and I would like to see the stats, very few of the guys coming out of there find success for a myriad of reasons. The culture of that place is not necessarily something I think we want to be associated with, just my opinion.
