Considering Izzo’s constant bawling and the fact that we got stuck with DJ Carstensen, I thought the officiating was surprisingly even-handed. Not the s*** show I was expecting.
That 9-0 run or whatever was sounded bad. Pavelka and Markowski said one ref called and offensive foul on MSU then they reversed it on review?
Great win! Though the technical on Frager come on man, I’m sure he will grow up but as the announcers said that flipped the game. Could have really pulled away if not for that. Wait until timeout or after the game to get cocky and taunt.

The change in the call was correct by today’s rules with the reviews. Almost like kick catch interference in football if you want to look at it that way to explain it.
Tv announcers agreed with the call fwiw. I will say that the chances of that call being reversed in our favor in east Lansing are about the same as me doing a 360 dunk.
Win for the B1G really too. This won’t hurt MSU nationally and it elevates Nebraska.

Ya, I understand the cylinder rule, but I feel like that shouldn't negate the very intentional elbow to the face. That wasn't a pivot move, that was a straight up shot to the chin.

Could have played better. Too many airballs on 3 point shots in the 2nd half. And Frager getting cocky and taunting after making a shot that stuff has to stop if this team is going to make the final 4. Nice win but a lot to improve on.

No question we could have played better.
But his elbow was moving basically vertically, with no other reason to do that than to try to clear space/make contact. It was VERY intentional (even if it was because he thought our guy would back off), and he got away with it because of the cylinder rule.
I’m thinking more like 2 seed. 2 losses, 3 at most going into the big dance. Pushing for a 1 seed.
Garcia needs more playing time in this type of game. His bulk makes a difference.
