Gave up a TON of offensive boards.
Yep and still won. Only team we need to be concerned with in the Big Ten is Michigan. Clean things up, shoot better in the 2nd half and it would have been a blowout tonight even with giving up a ton of offensive boards.

Team has almost no margin for error. Just stay healthy. Could be a 4-6 seed in the tourney if things break right
Team could be on the 2 line in the tourney. Enjoy this. By far the best NU team EVER! And a really really complete team. Gonna be a fun Feb & March.

Final 4??? I love the enthusiasm but I’d like to see Jim Mora’s reaction to that.
We will be on a line that makes it all about matchups. This might be the 5th-8th best team in America. Seniors, shooters, gritty, smart, surprisingly athletic..... we are getting tonthe point where final four isnt a pipe dream. But your point isnt lost. Just win.

Athleticism in the paint could bite them at any time

Cylinder call. Probably correct but doesn’t get called much.
I wish they could change those to a no-call.

On one hand, Frager more or less rammed his face into Fears’ shoulder, so I can understand removing the foul on Fears. Don’t really think MSU deserved two FTs, but that’s apparently how those reviews work.

No question we could have played better.

But his elbow was moving basically vertically, with no other reason to do that than to try to clear space/make contact. It was VERY intentional (even if it was because he thought our guy would back off), and he got away with it because of the cylinder rule
To get that call, we needed Frager bleeding all over his jersey.

Purdue is very good on any given day.
