Looks like the Jays will walk him rest of his at bats.

I'd say this makes sense unless you are in a tie game, bottom of the 9th with bases loaded and he's on the plate.
Of course you do that. I'm just not sure why they would announce that they are going to do it.

Depending on how long the series goes, he probably ends up with an OBP over .800, which would be a record.

Yeah, if they are announcing it, if you’re the Dodgers you pretty much have to hit him in the leadoff spot. That’s the best counterattack.
Yeah. Pretty stupid. The real answer is pitch to him when he can’t hurt you too bad. He can’t, and won’t, stay this hot. If no one’s on base or a runner on 1st pitch to him. Carefully. Runners in scoring position 1-st open, walk him. Adjust as needed depending on game situation.

Still hurts....1 strike away twice and lost
“We will see you tomorrow night…”

He was unconscious in the postseason

Not pitching to him is chicken shidt.

Nut up and try to get him out.
For entertainment sake this is what I wish would happen but he’s just to dangerous the feel I guess. Anyone on that Dodger lineup can get hot and hit really well, still not Ohtani I mean who is but Freddie Freeman is usually clutch and finally was in that 18 inning game that I actually watched all of. For the most part though they are far off from meeting their expectations or capabilities even. I don’t have the stat’s but I guess that’s why they want to take Ohtani out of the equation even though I do badly love to see him bat. I do wish they’d go right at him.

Pitch him. If you can’t get him out that’s on you.

So if we are playing a school with prime Lawrence Taylor on their team, you two would be ok with the coach saying we kept running at him every play and not double teaming him because we should nut up and try to beat him? Wow, you two really understand sports.
