...it makes sense to me that when Mullen's name started being associated with Miami, that Meyer may have contacted Dan and told him not to do anything yet because he might be stepping down. That would explain the lack of an agreed upon contract that you know Stricklin is ready to do. He may have been slowplaying us. That might also explain the "Mullen won't leave us over money" party line that Stricklin has been throwing out there.
Like a lot of people, I am 60/40 that he is gone. I think there is some chance that UF wants a bigger fish, and I think there is a slight chance that Mullen might not take it right now, but I think more than likely they'll offer and he'll accept knowing that he won't get that offer again.
