Tough call for the committee....clearly, the potential is there....do they view it as punishing a team to put us in their regional (ie, selecting a weak host?) we shall see. i wouldnt want us, but we are a total wildcard. i wouldnt mind La La, as if we cant get past them, we dont deserve it, plus its close, but time will tell.

They dont consider whether a 2 is strong or not. Every road regional since 01 has been acc so its probably coral gables or tallahassee. I could see us going to coral gables and being paired with the oxford regional

My opinion is either Lafayette, Miami, or Tallahassee.

Seems really unfair to make two schools in the same state have to put one another out in a Super Regional. Is this generally a common thing?

I know LSU and Tulane have played in Super Regionals. Why is it unfair? Makes for great attendance, drama, everything you want from a sporting event.

Kind of what I am thinking

To me it is a no brainer for the NCAA. Nothing unfair about it

How epic would that be if we met in a super?

Actually, I'd prefer they lose their regional, we win ours, then we get to host the SR.

I guess what I was getting at is that it is fine when it is a rare occurrence like this year potentially but it would not be fair to constantly pair up instate schools for a shot at Omaha just because they share a proximity when there are weaker teams playing elsewhere.

To me there are 6 possibilities: Miami, Tallahassee, Lafayette, Houston, Stillwater, and Fort Worth.

Arkansas, Texas Tech, Texas, and Nebraska should be 2 seeds. I think they fill the four non-Florida sites.

So that leaves Miami and Tallahassee. I think Bama goes to one of those two and MSU goes to the other.

Lafayette is also very possible if LSU ends up hosting. I'm personally hoping for a Houston Regional against Rice.

No way tsun hosts super now...

Everybody seems to be assuming that tsun will be hosting a super, but no way now, considering they have dropped to 14 rpi.
