I guess you dont understand what "snowflakes" are but this does not surprise me.
I have often posted that there is no real ideological difference between the two ruling political parties in this country. Despite their bitter disputes we here on the OT forum often get caught up in.
The only real difference they are battling over is who gets to spend that big pile of change that gets collected down there in Washington DC.
It's a fight over a big pile of money (over three trillion dollars annually) and who maintains the power over deciding how it gets divied up or collected?

Like I said yesterday, DJT is the peaceful path back to the center/right but not the only path. If he can't get the job done someone/s will.
He is not Conservative, we on the Right knew that. However we thought Congress at least in terms of a Governing philosophy was. Since they acutally allocate the dollars, it's harder to defend them.
Trump's first budget proposal is actually more fiscally Conservative than this apporpriation the jelly spined Conressional leadership is proposing so it'll be interesting to see how far right Trump manages to drag them over the next few years?
We'll see.
1% cut to EPA with no lost jobs plus he added military spending, so it looks like he's spending more than Obama ever did.
Trump was a Hail Mary by a consensus of politically conservative voters to peaceably bring about a shift in American politics, and I don't know if he'll be successful on his own or not, but what he did do was coalesce the political right under a loose banner of we're mad as hell and we're not going to take it any more. If Trump cucks or if Congress obstructs, and it's looking more and more likely that they will, then the next wave in the assault to bring sanity back to America will be much less genial and forgiving.
While the people ideally wield the power, we haven't used it in decades, IMO. Rather, we tend to give in to the shiny objects and our own kind hearts.There's nothing wrong with kindness, but politicians use it to propel their own greed. People, by and large, used to come to America to experience our great values; values and wealth not achievable in their counties of origin. I believe Western Culture is the best by far. My hope is that Americans can advance OUR culture to all people that want to participate. It seems we are losing ourselves in a wash of multiculturalism. There is know way Eastern culture is on our level. There just isn't, IMO. As the last election showed, we've demonstrated that many of us want to shake up the establishment. It will be hard to beat back the establishment because it owns so many minds, but hopefully the anti-establishment can make gains at the ballot.

Oh yes, I do, and I knew that. One big reason I didn't vote for him. I need a alt-right fiscal conservative, moderate populist leanings, and centrist social policies. I don't think there is any such thing, but me.
John Kasich was the ideal candidate for what this country needs, and he got lost in the circus side show that was the Trump campaign.

No, Rand Paul was the best candidate in the field, he takes the best parts of his fathers political philosophy and is infinitely better at dealing with the other members of Congress than his dad. He said pretty much all the same things Trump did, he just didn't have Trumps flair.
