Spiked Passes- Do they count in QB stats as incomplete Pass

All this talk of spiked passes made me wonder: anyone know, do they count as an incompletion in the QB's stats?

Yes they count as an incomplete, but not intentional grounding because it doesn't cross the line of scrimmage. From my understanding at least.

Yeah I believe they do - they probably shouldn't since they've kinda legislated them away from actually being a real pass attempt.

I the old days you just chucked it OB and it was an actual pass. Now it really isn't.
