We had a thread earlier on how to make soccer better. Let's throw out some ideas of how to make NASCAR better (tolerable).

My suggestion:

Those spoke things from the car race in Grease that shred the side of a car or tires.

couldn't find a better picture.

Any more ideas?

to the driver that marries his sister, so he'll fit in more with his fans.

Have rednecks in the infield shooting at the cars as they go around the track.

Have all of the drivers high on meth, like their fans, while driving. Might make for more interesting wrecks.

Ricky Rudd rolled one of Bill Elliot's tire changers into the fender well with a sliding pit stop move at a race in Atlanta years ago. Covered him up with a tarp and carried him away.

That was when NASCAR decided that cars should do no more than 30 to 50 mph on pit row. Effectively took half of the racing away in one fell swoop.

Now they're all running the same small body(that looks like a Fiat)...with a wanna-be's wing on the rear deck.

And you ask how to make it better?

i have always wondered why they just don't slow down if it is slick. But, i think with the tires they use, they would not be able to get traction at any reasonable speed. they could just pit and change tires.
