I dont really like the Indian Summer either. It's the same wheat-beer Blue Moon taste, but it left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. But what about Par 3?? I think that was the first Lazy Magnolia beer I drank. I really liked it but I don't see it around anymore.</p>

I like Saisons. Saison Dupont is the standard, but Avery makes a good one also.

Generally, I like the big Belgian Tripples and Quads ( not available in MS)

I'm glad LM exsits and wish I could get in Houston.

i also recently tried 4 of Lancaster Brewing Company's (pennsylvania) seasonals. the summer ale was awesome. i just ordered it off of the internets and it showed up at my door cold. god i hate that misisipi can be so dubm sometimes. i have enjoyed the freedom since moving.

i still couldn't drink more than 1 or 2.

the regular blue moon is one of my favorites.

And have had the southern pecan on draft a couple of times out now that i think of it.

Shiner (Bock) has been a favorite, tho I didn't like the hefeweizen (should probably try it again)- would like to try a couple those you mentioned. are they available in MS?

I like the Belgians, Duval, Chimay etc. If you get a chance try the Unibroue beers, a Belgian style, they are out of Canada and can be found in the liquor stores in TN.
I like most of the LM beers and my fav is Blue Heron.
Nobody mentioned Yazoo Brewery out of Nashville. They have a Hop Project which is fine and there is another brewer called Blackstone in Nashville that does really good stuff.
Someone mentioned Boulevard (most everything they make is really good), they also have the Smokestack series which are high gravity gems.
Stone, Dogfish Head, Russian River, Alesmith, Boulder Beer, Belles, Boscos, etc. damn, how do I pick a favorite.
For you wheat beer drinkers, Boscos makes one of the finest Hefeweisen I have ever had and Boscos private label is the Ghost River label and most of those are very good.

Damn, now I have to go beer shopping.

My wife absolutely loves their mothership whit. Just a note if you would like to have your wives or gf's understand the value and reasoning behind drinking good beer

It's a brown ale called Moose Drool. Fantastic beer. They also have other good ones like Trout Slayer and Powder Hound. You basically have to be out west to get it. As far as beers that ate easierri get ahold of and are good for the summer, Ive been loving the Sweetwater 420
Holy ****. I found somebody east of the Mississippi that has ad Moose Drool. Great stuff. I had some on a business trip to Missoula, MT and also on a mal-conceived college football trip to Eugene, OR.
