Does anyone have any experience using the cantor mobile gaming app? It's set up to where you can only use the app (to gamble) if you're IP address represents a location in Vegas... but there are pretty easy ways to set up a VPN in Vegas. I'm contemplating setting up an account and doing this for some football betting this fall, but was hoping to find someone who may have any experience doing this and could share some advice.

I have no experience with this app or heard of anyone using it. If you could get that IP set up to gain access its worth a try. Have you tried any offshore books?

I've done offshore books before but don't like using them. It's an act of Congress to get money out of the accounts there. Using a legit, Las Vegas entity to place your bets with seems like a way to not have to deal with the bush-league offshore guys. Setting up the IP is easy. I used WiTopia while I was in Beijing to use the watch ESPN app (available only for people in the US) to watch us play in the CWS final. WiTopia has a Las Vegas IP connect that will easily allow my device to appear to be logged in from Nevada. The question, really, though, is how deep does Cantor dig into whom is placing the bets. Are they going to eventually ask for SSN... home address... etc... ?

That is what I was just thinking about...if they find out your actually not in Nevada you may get bumped out or worse funds lost.

Honestly you may have a safer bet with the offshore. Congress has no jurisdiction in offshore books. I have never seen a case where they have confiscated anyones money. They do however control some banks from making or accepting deposits from them. I have never had an issue.

More money passes through the offshore books in sports betting than in Vegas. There are still some good sites out there. And if you dont want to deposit from your personal bank account send it via Western Union.

One book several years ago used to cut checks from Suntrust. And that was my personal bank. I would request a payout an would get a check in 3 days via fed-ex. That is no more. Recently they have been checks/wiresfrom Canada which I have ha no issues with.
