Auburn was sloppy last week in its win over Southern Miss and now the Tigers are double-digit road chalk at Mississippi State, which beat SE Louisiana last week after losing at Louisiana Tech to open the season. This is a revenge game for the Tigers after losing at home to the Bulldogs last year, 19-14 as two-touchdown chalk. This could be a tough game for Auburn's offense being on the road for the first time under new coordinator Tony Franklin.

.....I'd have a better idea after the first two games, but the La. Tech disaster threw everything out of whack. IF we somehow win this game, then we may not end up being bad after all. In fact I see a 6-6 record if we beat Auburn, including wins over Vandy, MTSU, UK, and Arkansas. 7-5 if we pull one off at Ga. Tech, but I think we'll lose that game.

If we lose to AU, then I'm very confident we'll be 1-4 going into the Vandy game. I think we all know that Vandy isn't the pushover they used to be, so they could very well beat us. If they do, then I'd have no doubt about us being 1-6 before facing MTSU.

In other words, I seriously see the direction of this season depending upon the outcome of the AU game now.

playing better this year, it's gonna be tough as hell for us to go 6-6 or better. I'm sick as hell of this losing & even settling for mediocracy. We need a real coach & now.

on our schedule that at this time you could definitely say appears weaker than they were last year. Tennessee may be slightly weaker but given we play them in Knoxville it probably doesn't matter. Anyway, it only highlights what a severe blunder it was for Croom & Co. not to have us properly prepared to make sure we won that first game at LT. There is seriously not a gimme left on the schedule. Even MTSU is going to be no cake walk.
