Johnson looks really smooth when he runs. He's not the fastest, but he eats up some ground. Seems to throw a pretty decent ball as well.

We need to find a way make some plays for Johnson to mix it up. Mixing it up was a big problem towards the end of the year.

Thought he's been wild high on a lot of his throws. That may be from being pumped to play.

Another nice pass by Barker to Conrad. Jojo for the first down on the next play. Jared Tucker with the nice INT.

Nice short pass from Barker to Horton. Then Walker bails Barker out. Good response to his last drive.

I agree with this. He is sailing it a bit, but the ball he is throwing is a nice catchable ball. He needs to bring it down and get it on target, but I think that will get there. Could be some nerves and could be some footwork issues.

The second string is controlling things right now.

Either we have really good depth or it's gonna be a long season.

I'm sitting here in sec 28. Good news is there isn't a ton of separation between the blue and white which indicates depth. Barker is ok, but I think johnsons decision making and athletic ability is a game changer. Keep in mind, Johnson is doing his work with the 2's.

Disappointed in the attendance though. Beautiful day for us to showcase to the rest of the SEC that we love football but I guess people are horse racing or at home.

Probably the latter. The Spring Game is not designed for the defense. It's designed to make big exciting plays, get the fans pumped up. Stoops first spring game, I knew we were in trouble when it was such a grind. Not too different today. 4-8 next season is what I'm expecting. UK needs a QB to win games in the SEC
