Barker looks like the better quarterback. Johnson getting the benefit of being a running qb in a spring game. He will be a nice change of pace. He could run a clock burning drive. But barker looks like a starting sec quarterback.

Barker finally starting to have some confidence coming back from a bad play to make a good one in his next opportunity in CRUNCH TIME!!!

Don't read too much into spring games, they're generally very controlled scrimmages. But the DL looks to be dogging it, not chasing after the QB even though tackles aren't being allowed. It's really bugging Stoerner and I understand his issue with it. Of course, we don't know what they've been instructed to do.

I suggest Gran runs the 2:00 Offense on the first possession of each half in an effort to get some rhythm goin. You can't really lose when the alternative is a sluggish three-and-out.
Ain't gonna happen.Stoops wants the offense to be more ball control to shorten the game for his defense.

I agree with this. He is sailing it a bit, but the ball he is throwing is a nice catchable ball. He needs to bring it down and get it on target, but I think that will get there. Could be some nerves and could be some footwork issues.
Yes, also he might not have been as focused early. When the White team went ahead, his sense of urgency went up 5 fold.

I know boom is going to be the starting running back and JoJo's going to play a lot but we have to figure out how to get King the football. Also I think defensively we are in a lot better shape that we have been in, in a long time.

I basically agree with this but I'm still concerned with the DL. Just not much depth there.

4-8 next season is what I'm expecting. UK needs a QB to win games in the SEC

After seeing the schedule they put up, i expect 6 wins.
The three non power 5 schools, Missouri, Vanderbilt, and South Carolina. We should win those games. We can beat Lewisville Community College, whether we do or not, who knows.

Nice TD by Mattingly to end the game. QB were shaky at first and looked more comfortable as time went on. Cant wait for FALL!!!!!

I am optimistic about the season, saw some really good things. Also saw some things that need to improve on. The summer will be crucial as always, need to add strength, and weight in certain areas.

Like the depth at QB looks like we will have few solid options over the next handful of years.

Tate Leavitt was a disappointment to me. I know it takes time to adjust but he was totally dominated by Ware. Hopefully that's just an indicator that Ware will be good this season.

Ware is going to have a big year. He is going to be making big plays all season. I really liked what I saw out of Jones too. He is going to make a lot of plays. Allen seemed to be on a lot of tackles too.

Mosier was head and shoulders over Leavitt.
