I think MSU took 6-7 in the fall portal & basically told them they could attempt to earn a spot on the roster in spring practice. Hopefully we will not be that desperate this offseason.

Probably doesn’t change much. Kids can still transfer whenever they want and not sit. The portal is just about coach contact.
