Gran has said that he doesn't care for switching hands to keep the ball on the outside arm. He doesn't want you to have the ball far enough from your body to be able to switch. I guess he figures that you're more likely to fumble it switching than holding it in the inside handClaw needs to catch and put that ball in his right hand when running on the sideline, I think.

You might be right I don't remember Gran specifying if it was in traffic or not. I thought it sounded like he didn't care what hand they put the ball into. I think whether you're left handed or right handed you should put the ball in your strongest arm/dominant hand. I've always thought that doing that gives you the best chance to hold onto the ballI think that is different. He was talking about being in traffic. Here, the kid pulls the ball into the wrong arm. It was not about switching.
