Hard time seeing Maher instead of Ekeler
I agree. I have no warm feelings for the guy either. Nevertheless, he was a very good ST coach and losing him is not a good thing. Maybe Maher will prove to be just as good.Meh. I was over Ek the minute he went shopping. All about himself.
I wish I was wired that way...I have stayed at certain places during my career for far longer than I should have...Meh. I was over Ek the minute he went shopping. All about himself.
You also do not know what is going on behind the scenes with these coaches. Many men would say that their families, children, and wives are the most important things to them, then they will just move around the country uprooting their kids and wives lives time and time again in the middle of the child rearing years. Money is great but it can only buy so much, every time the wife moves, she has to make new friends, a new community, same thing goes for the kids, and there is never anything to say about taking care of parents or having a relationship with extended family. College football coaches almost universally look miserable, they pretty much have to sell out for hookers and blow to even make the job worth it.I wish I was wired that way...I have stayed at certain places during my career for far longer than I should have...
The people new to the workforce seem to get it...jump from one job to another to get paid because the biggest/best raises come from starting at a new place, not waiting for the person who has the job you want at your company to retire.
That is true too.You also do not know what is going on behind the scenes with these coaches. Perhaps somebody showed him the video of Tom’s press conferences and said “this is how it’s done hat boy”. It’s unfortunate that he inflated the year 3 expectations to such a lofty level. Maybe the criticism wouldn’t be as vitriolic if he hadn’t. He failed to recognize the difference between Temple’s and Baylor’s conferences and what he would be facing at Nebraska. My take. He’s frustrated and humbled. Why do they have press conferences at all? I'd rather they didn't say anything and let their play on the field do the talking. Until they beat a top 25 team I don't think they are important enough to warrant media attention.
Did he inflate the year 3 expectations or did the media and fans?Perhaps somebody showed him the video of Tom’s press conferences and said “this is how it’s done hat boy”. It’s not like it’s the regular season where we get updates multiple times and it isn’t like they’re practically everyday of the week. It's been a week of practice and not much news has come out of camp. They keeping things quiet?
He talked plenty about year 3 at his previous stops. I didn’t buy in to that. I figured that while it was possible it wasn’t likely in the B1G.Did he inflate the year 3 expectations or did the media and fans?
You fail to acknowledge being blown out 3 games in a row to end the season. Also blown out by Minnesota!!!rhule took over a glorious 3 win team.
first year 5 wins
second year 7 wins
third year 7........(it was supposed to be 9)
thats where we are currently at..rhule is 2 games in the hole
there's been alot of talk why he's 2 games in the hole....
People don't care. It's been a week of practice and not much news has come out of camp. They keeping things quiet?
hi scottyYou fail to acknowledge being blown out 3 games in a row to end the season. Also blown out by Minnesota!!!
Only 2 of last years 7 wins where against winning teams and those “winning teams” were 7-6.
10-17 in conference
worst recruiting class in god knows how long.
Meh transfer portal class
*rhule has a history of losing. Not winning
we can add more if you’d like fun facts?
now I’m hoping the significant decrease in lack of interest will remove pressure from the team and this year will be better. Cause anything worse would be really bad
Did you want more facts or should we claim that beating the likes of Houston Christian High School And Akron keeps Matt on track, Julie?hi scotty
