NATS are back with Davey out as manager. Will have as good of a rotation as anyone in baseball, and will challenge the Braves for the East title.

We'll celebrate our 100th year at Wrigley by drinking budweiser instead of Old Style. Hope to win about every 3rd game we play too.

Giants will contend for the West, Mattingly will blow it for the Dodgers at some point. If Cain can stay healthy, he and Bumgarner are as good a one-two as there is.

Cardinals should get back to at least the NLCS. They have an absolute glut of starting pitching. Wong is still a question mark at 2nd but Ellis is there to back him up.

The Red Sox should at least make the ALDS this year. They lost Ellsbury but have a good nucleus back. I like our pitching and our lineup this year a lot. Ellsbury being gone doesn't really matter anyway. We've played half of the past two seasons without him anyway.

Typical Detroit

Verlander and company will win us an AL championship...then we will get swept in the Series by an inferior opponent.

Not a fan, but if anyone is writing off the Dodgers right now, you're smoking crack. A's, Red Sox, and Angels in the AL aren't even in ballpark.

The Phillies will in all likelihood struggle again this year. But I feel good about that. I signed on as Phillies fan in 2007 shortly after their 10,000th loss. I was stationed up there, and they were my first MLB game. Then they won the World Series the next year. I felt like a bandwagon fan. But I wasn't. I expected a loser like my Bulldogs and Saints. Now that they're back to losing, I feel morally superior. Suffering produces character. At least I have Paps to root for, if only for a while.
