I usually on put players on the list that I have read about as seriously considering State or that our coaches are rumored to have heavy interest in. However, I did start a little late on this one, so I know guys like Voytik, etc. that went elsewhere early arent on the list. I do like to have as many of those guys on there as possible though, to be able to look back and see that we were recruiting them when they inevitably become All-SEC freshmen elsewhere.

been after from the start and we did this well? That is a very impressive list of players on paper.

Offensive linemen we needed, check.
Linebackers we needed, double check.
Defensive Linemen we needed, triple check.
Added a quality running back, couple quaility receivers and a gray shirt, a stud tight end, a good qb prospect to develop on offense and added depth to the cb spot, a good safety prospect, a couple of nice quick athletes, and even a kicker.

That is one solid recruiting class from top to bottom. No hole left in the process and a great job by our coaches. I'm glad Schuessler waited it out for us. I was a little worried he'd be gone by us waiting on Liggins to decide. Also glad that the ones that committed early stuck with their commits this year. No drama as of yet on that front, and I hope it stays that way. Now if we can just make sure the 2 Browns make it official, this will be the best class Mullen has put together yet.

there is about 150-200 (total guess) recruits that had MSU offers that went to other programs


I think this gives a better look at the recruits that seriously considered msu
meaning I don't really think it is important to have Jameis Winston on a list when we were his top 5, but he had an MSU offer
and then there are some like Chad Voytik that was between us and Pitt and he chose Pitt that isn't represented

They said that Alford wants to play baseball and football, and they don't think he can play both and still be able to put in the work a QB would need to put in. I think that is insane to not put this guy at QB if he plays college ball.....especially at USM. That's just from a relative of mine that is a member of their pay site, so take it for what it's worth.

a white boy that's 6'4, 200 lbs and change. Lots of potential in the youtube video I watched on him. He's going to have to get bigger and stronger to be an SEC TE, but I like him. Maybe a little more so than I should.
