No coaches that enjoy being employed will kick a star off their team unless the circumstances are extreme.
What has he really done? I mean sure, he's a douchebag, but he didn't kill anyone. He didn't rob a liquor store. He's just generically a $+!% up. I'll go with what Steve said at media days, "we don't usually kick people off the team for being stupid." In honesty, I think Spurrier suspended him in situations where other coaches would have just let it slide or cover it up because it wasn't serious. I don't understand why we expect our college athletes to all be amazingly good people just because they can throw/run/catch a ball.

A friend who recently finished grad school at Carolina told me this story about Garcia. Garcia was at my friends' girlfriends apt complex for a late night pool party.
