Pj is gonna be a problemDuke leading '24 World champ Kaipanov 4-0 at break. Kaipanov responding in 2nd. 2 tds, a gut and a stepout 4-7.
Missed a little action. 7-9 with 30 sec to go
Kaipanov was down 6-0 in the quarters to Gomez before getting it rolling. I think the final was 10-8. It felt weird rooting against an American, but if Gomez won that match, it would’ve eliminated Duke. Need Kaipanov to win his semi.Duke leading '24 World champ Kaipanov 4-0 at break. Was hoping Jax could shock the world. Wrestling for bronze is still awesome. Of all the prodigies that are out there I think he would’ve been the best fit for the Hawkeye style. It’s like Spencer skills, but with a motor of ADS, and the length of Drake.Forrest v Uguev semis now.
Good action, stepout for Forrest 1-0. Challenge lost 2-0 Forrest. Crazy action off Uguev attack and Forrest counter ends with Jax on his back. Uguev scores just 2 though. Major credit to Forrest for not giving up exposure. 2-2 at break.
Forrest close to a score, but oob. Uguev 2 on cradle exposure, Jax gets 1 for stepout 3-4. Td and exposure Uguev 3-8. Td Uguev, 3-10. End
Forrest will wrestle for bronze tomorrow
Not sure why his opponent was there. The dude did not want to wrestle. Some of these international guys are just head scratchers.Hidlay wins 11-1
