I never got severely hurt playing football so I decided to keep the streak intact. After about 5 minutes of being there though, I wish I would have played.

You missed out on a really fun game. And we definitely missed you out there. The chance to play with guys from teams that span 35 years of St. Al football was really cool. To line up with guys that I admired as a kid and to play side by side with some of guys I grew up with again…. and then to go against kids that I’ve watched grow up and play over the last few years…. no it wasn’t without its risks, but for the limp I’ll have for the next few days, it was well worth it.
