suggestion for hillcrest - keep an eye on #35 for st.rita. ☺
How’s the pizza scene in Hillcrest( Country Club Hills) I’ll leave this thread now.
There’s probably 6 I can stop at in the 25 minute drive from 77th and Western to 175th and Pulaski
if I weren’t outta town next weekend I’d hit them all with you on the drive south.
As info, Irving left game today in second quarter with a leg injury and did not return.
Heard that also. Hillcrest coach was quoted as saying he thinks he should be ok
Aurelio's Pizza in Homewwod is less than ten minutes from Hillcrest. It's worth the drive.

I was at the Laurence / Hillcrest game and Irving is a special player. He is ELECTRIC. Eeirog, pizza at the concessions not so good but if they have the food truck near the road stands, Unbeatable Eatables kicks ***. Unfortunately they don’t have pizza but their sandwiches and homemade pound cake make a nice epicurean delight for any food loving fan!!!
I’ve been bringing the Mustangs luck with my pizza posts. They don’t need the luck because they’re a good football team. I’m wishing them the best of luck next week and don’t want to distract from what will be a great game. Go Rita Go!!
Absolutely! My wife is an HF grad and visited her ma today who lives at 183rd and Cal. I begged her to pick up some Aurelio’s and bring it back to Palatine. Alas, it was not to be for this poor NW Suburban cake-eater....

As well as St. Rita's defense played today I hope on the way back they stopped the bus and bought them all two also.
i asked my daughter about her favorite memories from high school sports and she said the bus rides to and from games

I don’t know a lot about Hillcrest other than I’ve seen them in the 5A AP rankings the last few years under Sterling so that means if there a really good public high school team playing Saint Rita the score will be something like 35-0 I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say 28-0 Saint Rita

They have a back who if healthy is a notch above brown.
But he might play both ways at times so depth might get them. And never seems like they kick extra points.
They gave Br Rice all they could handle week 1 and beat Laurence in rd 1 who 3 weeks earlier beat Rice.
If their team defense is fast, with a back like that itll be interesting.
But Richards beat Rita and Hillcrest beat Richards. Who Cares.
If Irving is healthy it will be a battle till the 4th quarter.
I expect Rita to wear them down in the 4th and win a 24-20 type of game. Hillcrest have a lot of guys going both ways.
Hillcrest QB1 and RB2 are excellent athletes as well. (Sterling had no one near their talent on the field yesterday. They look slow and small but still credit goes to rita.)
Irving vs Brown will be the best matchup of any class next week.
He was going off past rankings to evaluate game so I filled him in a bit on what they did. And you filled him in more, great job!
Rumor has it Brian Urlacher was seen at Chipotle near Sterling wearing a St Rita jersey.

That being said, as Marica said their defense is fast. Really fast as they get to the ball. But they go as Irving goes. He is by far and above a special player. He kicks, kicks off, returns punts and kicks while playing D and still rips off runs like no ones business. I hope he plays because you want to play the best. The key is getting them into 2nd and 3rd and long situations. Their passing game leaves a lot to be desired.
