Is all general seating the student section - besides the loge, suites, scoreboard and gridiron club?

That's my understanding. Probably would be best to put the band up there in the middle as well, I'd think. Calls for 7076 new "general" endzone seats -- which still isn't enough to house our entire student section with the number of tickets currently distributed(11,000). I'd like to see us cut down 25-33% on number of student tickets given and make about 7076 the new total number of student tickets. Would still be almost 1600 more than OM gives out...

I think you'll see a wave of decreasing student tickets allotment nationwide (certainly in the SEC) in the next few years if student attendance continues to struggle. I agree, not a bad move IMO.

It looks really, really good. Will it tie in seamlessly with the upper part of of the west side? I'll call it the "quarterdeck", but it's where it takes a little jog in to the south over the lower level.

DS ... that's a good, big picture. Can you put that link up under the "construction cam" link? The one there is really small, and when it's blown up it pixelates before you can see any detail at all.

It's going to be a long 9 months before I'll be able to see the new baby. Looked really good on Egg Bowl night though. It was neat watching the progress throughout the football season.

I'd like to see them bring south end of the lower level around and abut to the large video board. That couldn't possibly cost all that much. That, and a do-over of the underside of the east side with more elevators like they've done to the west.

I think a lower east side renovation has to take the next priority in a pretty quick time frame. The elevation transition from the endzone to the east side is impossible to handle in the "first class" manner represented by the rest of the stadium...

I believe Strick said there will be another set of stairs there for now...
