Has any one heard of a time frame in which they plan to start the addition? I have never heard a definate answer. Just seeing if anyone has any inside info. I think we need to get started while we are doing good!
I think what was discussed was do all the groundwork for north endzone between 2012 and 2013, put the bleachers back for 2013. Then put up the structure between 2013 and 2014. The plan is to have it complete for the first game in 2014 vs. USM. (also the 100 year anniversary of Scott Field/Davis Wade Stadium)
that we would begin moving utilities this spring. I think full on construction is supposed to start at the end of the 2012 season and be complete by the first game of 2014. I ran into Stricklin in Nashville and asked him about the order work would be done (ie...north endzone enclosure, upgrading and modernizing the west side and bricking the facade). He said that would depend on how the funding came in but obviously the north endzone enclose was the top priority because of the seating issues.
