stadium seating question

It has been a long time since I've been back on campus for a game... looking forward to this weekend's showdown.

Two quick questions about seating:
1) Are there chairbacks on the lower level section seats?
2) Which section does the band sit now that they have moved the students?

1. No, unless you rent the temporary ones.

Just bleachers in the lower sections. But, a lot of season ticket holders do pay extra to rent cushioned stadium seats with a chairback that get bolted onto their seats for the season. Whether or not your seats will have that depends on if you bought your ticket from a season ticket holder who does this.

Band sits in section 17 (East side, north endzone).

Brings up a point. Could we add backs to the bleachers, a la Death Valley?

Would like to see that happen. Just the bench long back rather than individual seats that would cut out capacity and would have to be cheaper.
