Minimal coaching staff experience with NBA talent and connection. It's what a majority of so called fans always wanted. Now they got it.A first time HC bringing in former players with minimal coaching experience ... we'll see how this works out.
Speak for yourself. "Majority"...naw.Minimal coaching staff experience with NBA talent and connection. It's what a majority of so called fans always wanted. Now they got it.
With all the transfers out, I doubt if wins 10 games. Its just interim. After the season they will go after a big time coach, unless Eilert really has a great season..
Yeah it doesnt look good after Jose is back in the portal. This could be a season to forget for WVU. I hope all of our former players-turned-coaches on the sidelines bring some kind of Mountaineer magic luck or something because we need it.With all the transfers out, I doubt if wins 10 games.

I'm actually pulling for Eilert to be a success. I hope he makes it.I think the admin knows it is a lame duck year so they figure throw this assistant in and bring in some former guys dabbling in coaching. See what any of them has got and maybe use the former stars to get something for fans to be excited about during this throw away year.
If only WVU didn't have the unreasonable expectation that a grown man NOT drive around plastered for over 7 hours while guzzling booze behind the wheel to the point he cannot even pull a vehicle to the side of the road.

As far as Huggins driving around drunk for 7 hours and thinking he was in Columbus is his mistake.
They shouldn't strive to be those teams. They should strive to better. I said give him 4 years. He's had 4 years and has done nothing. If not for Shane And Gee then Brown is already gone.If you are the HC of WVU basketball, football, or baseball I hope for and have interest in your success. Not for your sake, but rather the program's. That's why I don't understand when people say "you just hate <insert name here>" when anyone expresses that they would prefer a coach that has shown the potential to maybe recreate say a 1988, 1993, 2005, or 2007 kind of football season eventually.
