Said the the reason for not allowing bb players to go straight into the NBA was for racist reasons, I can't post the site ...does anyone else buy that line of thinking? Said baseball players & hockey players could go because they was mostly white , but basketball players was mostly black & that's why the ncaa would not allow it . I read it on the score app ..if someone could post it

It is a NBA rule.........Anyone can go directly from HS basketball to Europe and play professionally for a year. There are 2-3 hockey players a year that play as 18 year olds and even when they do, they have played basically minor league hockey in the Canadian junior program or European leagues. I can't recall the last player that went from HS directly to the major leagues. If you play NCAA football, baseball, or hockey, I believe you are basically stuck for 3 years before you can play in the MLB, NFL, or NHL. Basketball allows a 1 year exit.....how is that racist. I didn't research any of this so I could be wrong.

I couldn't see the racism in it ,but wanted to hear other opinions, wish I could have linked the article, but he was calling out the Ncaa & anytime they get called out I like it
