Someone called Italy's Prime Minister a fascist and now he is being charged for it. At this point people are routinely arrested in England and Germany and other places over there for saying the wrong thing. And sentiment for that kind of thing is growing here in the USA too. Recently 60 Minutes did a positive piece on Germany arresting people for incorrect speech.

Free speech is bedrock. It is the most important right. Without it, the other freedoms are irrelevant because without free speech you can't object to the other freedoms being taken away.
