I am watching the Stanford vs UCLA game and Stanford looks good but at the same time UCLA looks really bad. The thing that really stands out about Stanford is how skinny their players are. They look like a high school team in regards to physical development.

Out of all of the #1 seeds, Stanford is the team to play. S.Carolina and NC St are more athletic, UCONN is a bad match up because Geno always out coaches us, Stanford is the best match up....

You are correct historically about Geno because he had the thoroughbreds. But if I am remembering correctly our last two games with UConn the standings are 1-1.

I don’t think UConn would be a bad matchup they are a very young team and they only use 7 players. This is not a normal UConn team Geno is getting some good players but not all the good players like he used to. Their center plays out on the high post on offense and defense so there is not defensive presence underneath. UConn has benefitted from a very weak schedule this year. The Big East conference only ended up with 1 ranked team at the end of the year and that was UConn. If you look at the rest of the conference only 4 teams had winning records.

Geno is out the first two game under COVID protocol but Chris Daley his long time associate coach is perfectly capable of getting the Dogs past High Point and either Syracuse, Iowa, Central Michigan or KY. What I'd love to see is UConn try and stop Rhyne Howard in the Sweet 16. Olivia Nelson Ododa is nails tough but Howard is beast mode. I've heard Rhyne just may skip her final two years as a Cat and go pro. Allegedly, there are some philosophical differences between what Rhyme things and the way Ivey coaches. Interesting....

I understand Howard is really good. I only saw one stretch of a uk game and she seemed to just stand around until she had the ball.

If I’m not mistaken I think Daley is 11-0 when he’s filled in for Geno. Not bad

Geno always plays 7 players, he’s never went deep into the bench. Bu those 7 play well together. The Big East is always weak, that’s why he schedules all of the top teams. His freshman Bueckers might be the best player in the country. I still would rather play Stanford. Geno out maneuvers Coach Walz head to head. We need to avoid them at all cost.
