drop off in the interest level. I'd like to convince myself to pull for one or any of the SEC teams but since I mostly hate all of them other than mine...I really don't care. Since we practically owned LSU maybe them...but then again, maybe some team from the SEC east....hell, I don't know.

Knocking Scott Boras' 6 million dollar man right off the mound! Of course, he's doing a ton to hurt himself in this game as well...

It's a shame the draft wasn't one week later**

The game had been rained out in the 3rd inning with LSU up 14-1?

Continue the game, or start it over?

Just curious

I went to the regional MSU played in Palo Alto. The fans were incredibly pretentious, they viewed that dump they play in as the Taj Mahal. Stanford has multiple billions in endowment and a really ugly campus. A weedeater would do the place wonders. Yes, I know Stanford has great academics, but it is possible to attend another school and be literate, but this fact is lost on the Cardinal.
Did I say the field is a dump?

Edited to fix a typo.

I had this issue in a Cal Ripkin league. Rules said restart. BUt I couldnt for the life of me figure out one reason it should be a restart instead of a continuation.

because I think a game should be restarted no matter what. But different leagues have different rules and you just have to go with them. There have been guys in MLB that have had things like potential no-hitters and home runs wiped out because a game was stopped before it became official.

I can understand it a little more with MLB because of the distances teams have to travel. If you are the Red Sox, why go all the way out to Oakland to play five innings?

what am I missing?
edited to add: I do understand that MLB that cannot travel coast to coast to continue a game for a couple of innings. But in the absence of that, I wonder what would be the reason to restart a game. I mean ever.
