of what he has been saying on his "speech tour". Also was saying that he fully expected sydney to be cleared....looks like he has a bit of a different tune here. He was pumped at those speaking events.
Quick fishwater and Coach34, name a sport that MSU has been consistently good in over the last decade.
Seriously, Stansbury has put together the only team on campus that year in and year out we can get excited about for more than a month. Better to have expectations than to have no hope.

After all, MSU is known for always living up to and exceeding big expectations. You'll recall in 2001 when our football team not only met, but surpassed all expectations by winning the SEC and making a BCS bowl game. Then there's the 2003 basketball team that made it all the way to the final four. Let's not forget the national championship we won in baseball in 1985. Mounting expectations have never bothered MSU. Stans should be ashamed of himself.
of a fairly "down" conference really qualify as sky high expectations? If Sidney is eligible, State should challenge to win the conference. If not, this is essentially the same team that had to win the SEC tourney just to make it to the dance last year.
but I'm not sure this team will be that great. Remind me why we matched up so poorly with Auburn last year. They kicked the shat out of us both games last year (normally the other way around sans a couple of good Cliff Ellis teams).
