<span class="pp"></span>Earlier this year, Osby was almost lost on the bench. He played single-digit minutes in five games of a six-game span around the holidays but has played double-digit minutes in eight of State's last 10 games.<span class="aa"></span></p>

<span class="pp"></span>"A couple of times, I felt like I was in a little funk," Osby said. "But I think I'm starting to get out of that."<span class="aa"></span></p>

<span class="pp"></span>Osby, a Northeast Lauderdale grad, said his recent play has boosted his confidence.<span class="aa"></span></p>

<span class="pp"></span>Stansbury wouldn't mind if that confidence spilled over to tonight and Osby continues to morph into the kind of player who can help him beat Kentucky - and win games for the next two years, too.<span class="aa"></span></p>

<span class="pp"></span>"He's a total team guy," Stansbury said. "He's a great kid. We all know some things he's got to get better at as a player. Time will heal some of those. ... One thing I never question will be his effort and the toughness he'll play with and his attitude toward winning the game."

He could be a real player for us. It's just unfortunate watching him trying to dribble. I really wish we could utilize him more because he does play with a lot of effort on the court and he isn't a ball hog.
