Gald we are on this trip playing teams that do nothing but zone on D.

" Coming in, we didn't work a lot on our offense, as we decided it was
best to work on our defense. They zoned us the whole game, and we just
weren't sharp in attacking."

As in: Throw it to ____________________ with 8 seconds left on the clock and let him "create"

at least it won't be Barry Stewart. That made my head almost explode.

Perhaps it being Moultrie or Hood will upset Bost greatly?

Ah, the drama............

It is exciting to see balanced offensive production out of our group.
Credit to Stans for having this many potential offensive weapons out there.
I enjoy seeing the Wendell Lewis stat line of 6 of 7 or whatever it was. Nice.

This year should be fun.

Why in the 17 does he refuse to even work on zone offense until almost the beginning of conference play? I can't count how many times we've seen almost that exact same quote from him in December.

Here's an idea, you can work on offense and defense at the same time. You have 5 players on offense and 5 on defense and one set of coaches work with each unit, then switch up and work with the other set.

they should. However, they are using quite a few combos that include the new guys and it'll take a while for them to figure outthe scheme, assumingthere isa scheme.

Tell me about it. We're averaging 86 points a game, winning by a comfortable margin, shooting close to 50% from the field, have balanced scoring led mostly by our post players (which suggests we're getting the ball inside just fine against the zone), and people act like it's a disaster.

That is the funny part. No one has even seen them play and are already complaining. Of course, we have some fansthat don't see any of the games in November and December yet still offer their critiques.
