from VegasInsider.com:

**B.E.'s Bonus Nuggets**

--Five coaches on the hot seat:
1-Tim Floyd (USC)
2-Jeff Lebo (Auburn)
3-Sidney Lowe (N.C. St.)
4-Jerry Wainwright (Depaul)
5-Ernie Kent (Oregon)

--Georgia Tech's Paul Hewitt and Mississippi State's Rick Stansbury would also be in trouble if their respective teams don't go dancing this year, but it says here that those programs will hear their names called on Selection Sunday.

just passing the word along...

Stansbury on the hotseat???

No, at least not according to your own link. Pretty sure they can take #1 off that list now too.

"Mississippi State's Rick Stansbury would also be in trouble if their respective teams don't go dancing this year"

"Would also be in trouble" is pretty 17ing far from being "currently on the hot seat," which as we all know is what you wet dream about on a daily basis...

Isn't this writer (who has good observations in his column) saying that if Hewitt and Stansbury don't make the tournament then they will be on the hot seat? Is "would also be in trouble" not just another way of saying "on the hot seat" or is there a hierarchy regarding that lingo? The reason they are not on his list is that in his opinion, both of those teams will make it in, right? It looks to me like they are #6 and #7 on his list, with #1 already gone. Like "others receiving votes." You might not agree with it (I don't) but it doesn't appear they are that far from being on the list.

Should Stansbury be fired this year? If the answer is no, he is NOT on the hot seat. I agree, a missed NCAA tournament lands him on THE hot seat, but he would still be given another year and everyone knows it. Therefore, he is SAFE this year.

Does Coach criticize Stans a lot? Yes.
Does he back up most of his arguments with either data or opinions? Yes.
Does he come here and post "yippee! we lost!!!!!"? I have never seen that, not once.

I've said it before and I will say it again. You can disagree with Coach all you want, but at least he has an opinion and reasons for why he has those opinion.

My gosh, in this post, he linked an article by another writer and somehow that is him reveling in an MSU loss.

There were 5 coaches listed, and Stans wasnt one.

Its clear 34 loves to bring up all things that show Stans in a negative light...his skewed stats prove that much. And now he is linking articles that dont support his controversial questions? Yep, thats pretty friggin stupid.

Ann damn Coulter of SixPack.

How about he link an article that actually supports his view?...cuz we all know the question in his subject line wasnt innocent, since it can be easily answered by just looking at the 5 who are on the hotseat.

Its just Ann being Ann.

The man clearly said if Stansbury better make the NCAA Tourney or he will be on the hotseat.

"his skewed stats prove that much"

There is nothing skewed about my stats. I'm sorry if the truth hurts. The numbers are what they are.

When ever I finish reading one of these inane anti-Stansbury threads (which I inevitably do), I never know who I hate more: C34 for posting it or myself for getting sucked in once again.

So he better make it or he will be on it...which means he isnt on it. Which means the answer to your dumbass question is a clear NO. Your link answers your own question.
You posted up a question and your link answered your question...yet im the one being accused of dumb answers?!?!

As for your stats, yeah, they are skewed. We all skew em to make our point. During this past season you kept saying that he had made only 1 NCAAT in the last 3 seasons and that it was soon to be 1 in 4. That showed how poorly he had done in recent times. Others here said he had made it 5 out of the last 7 years and that showed consistentcy.
Both stats were correct, and both were skewed to support the view. You sure as hell do skew your stats, just sack up and admit it like anyone else who is honest can and accept the reality.
