1. At no point in time should two of your offensive players who exceed 6'7" in height be allowed to play in or around the lane (we've all seen how good Lebron plays the Forward/Guard role so why can't our big guys);
2. If your PG so chooses, he is allowed to takethree pointers with no passes and no rebounders down the floor yet so long as he thinks it feels good - if he does miss and you think it was a bad shot, just clap your hands and encourage the PG, no need to discipline him or explain to him what is a good shot - I'm sure he'll figure it out on his own eventually;
3. If your offensively challenged big man is missing shot after shot around the basket while the four other players stand and watch him, there is no need to make any changes - as in rule number 2, I'm sure the players will figure it out on their own eventually;
4. If things aren't going well in a game, try a grouping that includes your set shooter with no other skills along with your 7 footer who can barely move laterally - that should turn things around;
5. Also, no need to make any changes to force another team to do things they don't want to do - I'm sure eventually it will all work itself out.....
6. Ravern Johnson should not have to play defense or rebound - man he can shoot andI'm surehe'll figure out he might need to playdefense at some point in the season....

(7) Free throws don't matter; Afterall, we shoot 3's so well getting two at the line is of no consequence to an offensive juggernaut like this club........

(8) Once the ball goes to the post, you never and I mean never pass it back out.

(8b) Once you drive the lane or get an offensive rebound, and have the opportunity to draw a foul pass it back out immediately for a 30 ft 3 pointer.

(9) Instead of switching to zone when a player is lighting us up, stay man to man, don't worry about getting screened up top, no help defense, and eventually that guy from Arkansas with the rolled ankle will get tired of putting up layups and free throws. He almost broke a sweat.

(10 my personal favorite) If you make a hustle play off the bench, you will sit back down immediately and think of what you did.

(11) Don't foul with 22 seconds remaining down by 1 after they secured the inbound pass.

9(b)If you chose to stay in the man to man defense and said guard continues to drive the lane, you always go for the block and never try to draw the charge......Afterall, defense is about blocking shots and not about staying in front of the offensive player, as their is always a chance youcanblock the shot from behind.......</p>

Now whether its....

A) The other 4 stand around when Jarvis has the ball in the paint b/c they know he's goin to the hole come hell or high water....and won't kick it out

or

B) Jarvis has to go to the hole b/c no one positions themselves for a kick out or to follow a miss...

....it happened more than a few times, of course it hurts when the lineups not that big, but you gotta go after some rebounds

Stans prolly does teach crashing the boards for follow up, just very few do
