He shot us into the L. Absolutely killed us down the stretch.

I would've rather had Holman chunking it up there.

No, it was Free Throws

Nobody on that team practices Free Throws. They think highlight dunks or 30 foot 3 pointers will get them into the League.

You see the girls, they shoot at about 90%. A free throw is a gift from God. The girls understand that, the guys are just waiting to get home and party.

Stapleton didn’t shoot us into a loss.

His coach allowed his whole team to let it go from deep. His coach could have done something about and made no adjustment.

Add the timely turnovers, fouls, lack of aggressiveness, poor FT and zero defensive adjustments the final 8 mins, oh wait we did a 1-3-1 once my bad, were more to blame than Stapleton.

I'll agree with all that.

But I'm still blaming Stapleton. Made his first 3. Finished 1-5, shooting more 3s than anyone else. And bad ones too. Also should've hammered Tyler at the rim in the last minute. But gave up the huge layup. Then pulled another terrible 3 to end the game.

Stapleton drives me crazy. I would sit him until he accepted his role as an energy guy. He kills ball movement because he starts shooting as soon as he touches it. He has no business chunking up 3s.

It's refreshing to see someone hold a basketball coach accountable. We do it in other sports, but that basketball feller just can't catch a break.
